Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) objected to him and said: What has happened to the people that they delay the call to prayer? Hazrat Uthman (RA) said: O Commander of the Faithful! On hearing the call to prayer, I did not do anything more than what is ablution and I have attended. Umar said: And that too (only) ablution?
